8 Rescue 1

8 Rescue 1 is a Command/Rescue vehicle. The 2010 Ford F150 was put in service in September 2010. It is a crew cab that can seat a driver plus 4 passengers. It has a slide out bed for ease in reaching tools. The new low profile light bar is not very noticible when it is inactive, but when lit up it does give warnings that it is an emergency vehicle. Rescue 1 is usually assigned to Assistant Chief David Bretz.
