August 12th Truck fire pictures (19 images)
First units arriving on scene of the fire found a pickup
truck blazing away under the hood and beginning to spread to the interior of the
cab. An attack line was pulled by by Captain Gries and Lieutenant Beach. The
fire was quickly knocked down enough to open the hood and doors and go to the
smoldering remnants. The fire apparently started from the driver trying to pull
a pole out of the ground. It must have been like an iceberg- just a little
showing but enormous below the ground. Looks like it was for sale! Anyone need a
