Captain Cindy Gries (8A8)

Captain Cindy Gries joined German Township Volunteer Fire Department in December of 1997.  Cindy currently holds Indiana State Certificates as a First Responder, Firefighter I/II and Fire Officer I.  Cindy is the Department P. I. O.. She is responsible for data reporting to the State Fire Marshall's office. Cindy works for Evansville Surgical Associates. Cindy has three children:  Sally, who works for Habitat of Evansville; Emily, a  teacher at Saipan Community School in far off Saipan; and Russell, a student at Vincennes University majoring in Robotics.  She also has two Chihuahua's, Lyla and Ginger.  Cindy is pictured on the right with Division Chief Neel at a MVA on St. Joe.
