Division Chief Nick Adams (8A5)

Chief Nick Adams has been a member of German Township Fire Department since July 1993. In his 14 years of service, he has made a commitment of much time and energy, and has become a major contributor to the success of the department.

Chief Adams' largest responsibility within the department is our ongoing training program. In 2003, he lead the effort  to revamp the training schedule and program, making training time more effective and productive for the department and the individual member. At the annual awards banquet in January 2004, Then Capt. Adams was presented with the Chief's Award.

In addition to being an excellent officer and member of the department, Nick is a dedicated father and husband. His wife, Amy is studying to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Nick and Amy have three children, Jacob, Matthew, and Noel. The kids spend time with most evenings, as Amy is currently working second shift at Holiday Healthcare.

With the demands of family and the fire department, their lives are extremely busy. But Nick & Amy have still found time to make significant contributions to their community.
