A car fire on Mesker Park Dr 12/04/07 (33 images)
On Tuesday December 4th at 11:50am, German Fire was dispatched to a car fire on Mesker Park Drive. The first one on scene happened to be a Wadesville firefighter, Eric Gentry, who was on his way home and heard the dispatch. He took these pictures.
First on scene was FF Jim Geiser. He thought that it was a lot worse when he came around the bend and saw the smoke that looked like it was coming from the nearby house. Jim was closely followed by 8E9 with a crew of 2- FF Darrell Eastham and Captain David Magary. Since they were in gear they pulled a line and Jim operated the pump.
The car was pretty well gone when the attack started and it was a quick knock down. Also on scene were, FF Josh Burns, FF Lester Garrett, and Assistant Chief David Bretz.
