Life Flight Visits German Twp for Training
On July 18th, our regular "medical training night," was a treat for all who attended. The flight nurse gave us a lecture on the use of St. Mary's Life Flight and then we all proceeded to the soccer field at Cynthia Heights School. Jim Geiser was the radio operator giving the pilot directions and almost landed him at Castle High School when he got east and west mixed up. Once on the ground and safely stopped the group was given a hands on demonstration. After the helicopter took off into the wild blue yonder we all returned for another lecture including some horrific pictures of burn victims.
