Denzer Road Fire Next Day-
Feb. 26 (58 images)
On Feb. 25, 2006, a passerby on Denzer Road saw flames coming from near the chimney of the house and called 911 and then roused the inhabitants. First units arrived to find flames had already vented the fire through the roof near the chimney. The metal roof on the structure presented the incident command with problems. Early in the attack, it was decided to use foam. The room where the fire did the most damage was two stories high with a loft bedroom off to one side. The owner had built the house and a quite a bit of the furnishings. There were no injuries, but it is sad to see such skilled workmanship so damaged. Pictures from the morning of the fire can be seen from the link below and the scene on the next Monday can be scene by clicking on the images.
