German Township Fire Department responds night or day - whenever you need help. The ambulance service provided to German Township under the County Commissioners Contract may respond from as far away as Highway 41 and Virginia St. or as close as St. Joe and Maryland St. In most cases, a volunteer firefighter from German will be on the scene rendering assistance before the ambulance arrives. Your fire and rescue department does more than just fight fires.
