The German Township Fire Department is first and foremost made up of people. The 60 member team includes a mix of men and women from all ages 16 and up of German Township, who faithfully dedicate their time to preventing property damage, providing emergency assistance, and saving lives.

The Board of Directors desires to solicit residents of German Township and/or Armstrong Township who may have a desire to assist the Fire Department by serving on the Board.
2 Members of the Board are appointed by the Board. Board members meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at the Fire Department Headquarters. 5 members of the Board are elected by the Fire Department membership in January and 1 each is selected by the Armstrong and German Township Trustees.
