Motorcycles Meet Camper
About 12:30pm on August 31, Firefighters Lemon, Gries, Geiser and Georges were on standby/ public ed with E7 and R9 at the St. Joe Summer Social when they noticed a group of motorcycles going through the nearby intersection of St. Joseph Rd. and St. Wendel Rd. Shortly after that the tones dropped for a MVA on St. Wendel Rd involving the cycles and a camper. First on scene , FF Eickhoof, gave a size-up on the radio that there were 4 injuries. The crew from the social arrived shortly after this and triage showed that there were no apparent serious injuries. Other units arrived and all patients were packaged and ready to go when AMR arrived and transported the injured.
