During Fire Prevention Week in October, second and third grade students from the three elementary schools in our area entered a contest to draw an escape plan for their home. Three students were selected from each school. The winners were awarded a ride to school in a fire truck. On January 25 the three students were picked up at their homes and driven to school. As you can see all had a great time!
This group went to Cynthia Heights School. The fire trucks with their warning lights flashing arrived after most of the busses had dropped off their students, but everyone in school seemed to be aware of our arrival.
