During Fire Prevention Week in October, second and third grade students from the three elementary schools in our area entered a contest to draw an escape plan for their home. Three students were selected from each school. The winners were awarded a ride to school in a fire truck. On January 24 the three students were picked up at their homes and driven to school. As you can see all had a great time!
This group went to St. Joseph School. The fire trucks with their warning lights flashing and the extra traffic caused a minor traffic jam.
